Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL-A Owner Operator and take control of your driving career! This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate your own tractor-trailer, specializing in refrigerated freight, automobile transportation, and various over-the-road (OTR) routes. As an independent owner-operator, you’ll enjoy the freedom of managing your schedule while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and safety standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, logistics cargo handling, and hazardous materials will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes, providing essential goods to communities nationwide. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or specialized equipment across OTR routes Load and unload freight with precision, following proper manual handling and truck loading procedures Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal truck performance Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any route or cargo issues Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations with manual transmission vehicles Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and hazardous materials handling procedures Skilled in route planning using GPS navigation for efficient delivery execution Expertise in freight management, load & unload processes, and logistics cargo handling Ability to drive safely on diverse routes including OTR driving routes with a focus on safety and compliance Experience with delivery driving for various freight types such as refrigerated goods, automobile transportation, flatbed loads, or tanker shipments Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently Embark on a rewarding journey as a CDL-A Owner Operator—where your driving skills meet independence!
