Compensation Salary Average: $1100 - $1300 1-3 years experience: $20.50 per hour 3-9 years experience: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour 10+ years experience: $22.00 per hour Night shift premium: Additional $1.00 per hour Weekend premium: Additional $5.50 per hour Holiday premium: Additional $5.50 per hour Monthly bonus: Approximately $200 based on company performance Detention pay: Paid after 2 hours Layover pay: $200 Direct deposit weekly Home Time and Schedule Home daily Day shift schedule Monday through Friday Shift start: Approximately 6:00 AM Workday length: 8 to 12 hours depending on volume No over-the-road travel Operating Area Primary service area: Jonesboro and Paragould, AR and surrounding areas Freight sources: Rail yards, container depots, manufacturing plants, warehouses Delivery locations: Customers, plants, and distribution centers in assigned Northeast Arkansas market Freight and Driver Responsibilities Trailer types: 53' dry van and intermodal containers Freight type: Intermodal containers and dry van freight Drivers handle intermodal containers and dry van freight with day shift hours Monday through Friday Touch freight: Yes (intermodal container handling, rail yard environment) Intermodal experience preferred but not required; training is provided for qualified drivers Equipment Trailer types: 53' dry van and intermodal containers Equipment: Late model Class A equipment Operation type: Local intermodal and customer delivery Benefits 401(k) retirement plan Dental insurance Supplemental insurance Paid time off (includes holiday pay and general PTO) Company-paid annual DOT medical card Requirements Valid Class A CDL Current DOT medical card provided by company Safe driving record Ability to work in rail yard and customer environments Intermodal experience preferred but not required
