CDL-A Hotshot / Flatbed Driver (W-2)

Milestone Xpress Inc. Milestone Xpress Inc. is a family-owned trucking company based in Woodland, CA. We are hiring a dependable W-2 CDL-A driver for hotshot/flatbed work. We are selective and focused on finding the right long-term fit. Equipment & Freight Ram 3500 dually + 40-ft gooseneck flatbed General flatbed freight / general merchandise Loads may require straps, chains, binders, and tarps Positions Available Local/Regional : Primarily California and nearby regional freight. Not home daily—frequent overnight runs occur during the week. OTR : Coast-to-coast Schedule : 5-day work week, weekends off. Pay & Employment 25% of truck gross revenue Paid bi-weekly W-2 employment Company provides : Truck, trailer, fuel card, and dedicated dispatch. What the Job Requires Dispatch communication is a major part of this role. You must stay in regular contact for load assignments, ETAs, pickup/delivery updates, pictures, PODs, delays, and changes. You need to be comfortable securing your own loads, checking and rechecking securement, and handling chains, binders, straps, and tarps. This is hands-on flatbed work. We expect safe, dependable driving, solid understanding of DOT/HOS rules, flexibility with changing freight and routes, and a willingness to work constructively with dispatch. Who We’re Looking For Preferred experience : CDL-A plus actual flatbed, hotshot, gooseneck, equipment hauling, construction hauling, towing, or other relevant open-deck background. Ideal candidates have enough experience to work independently. Strong preference for drivers who already know chains, binders, straps, and tarps. Missing one skill may still be considered if the rest of your background is solid and you are genuinely hands-on and teachable. Clean or reasonably clean MVR strongly preferred. Sacramento / Woodland / Northern California candidates preferred.
