Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or hazardous materials (Hazmat) loads, following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Transport automobiles or other specialty freight via automobile transportation equipment when required Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inspection reports in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and trucking standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before operating the vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or safety issues Requirements Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and logistics cargo handling Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazardous materials transportation is highly desirable Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and navigation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and hazardous materials regulations Strong manual handling skills for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
