CDL-A Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers on designated delivery routes across regional territories (North East and Mid-West) Unload freight with precision, ensuring proper handling packaged food products. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently Transport the cargo with care, following all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Unload freight with equipment, ensuring proper cargo handling and securing loads for safe transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports while communicating effectively with our logistics team regarding delivery status or issues Requirements Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving Proven experience with delivery driving, route driving involving freight transportation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to handle manual transmissions and perform manual handling tasks during unloading processes Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Experience with logistics cargo handling for freight including refrigerated trailers Strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all federal and state trucking regulations Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
