CDL A & B Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across Tri-state routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and dry van. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailer, and dry van. NO Touch freight, just secure freight safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries. Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Ensure the safe handling of goods during transit to prevent damage or loss. Skills Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Previous experience as a delivery driver (min 2 years) is highly desirable. Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management and efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.
