Category Manager

We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Category Manager to join our Procurement team and take the lead on combined categories across Tech, Fleet and Gaming.

In this role, you’ll develop and deliver sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, manage contracts, and work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive commercial value, reduce risk, and support innovation.

Working in Tabcorp is not for the faint of heart, we move at pace and our team go beyond the norm to get things done.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and deliver category plans and sourcing strategies
• Lead tenders, negotiations, and supplier selection
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Ensure contracts deliver value and meet business needs
• Work with business stakeholders to align procurement with strategic goals
• Monitor and report on procurement activity, driving continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• 2–5 years' experience in procurement, category management, or sourcing
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and tools (Oracle experience a plus)
• Proven skills in supplier management, commercial negotiation, and contract management
• A proactive, organised, and collaborative mindset
• Great attitude and communication skills and ability to engage with all areas of the business
• Interest in growing your career across a variety of procurement categories
