Cashier / Stockroom Associate

Overview Zafiro Clothing Co. is a luxury men’s fashion retailer with five stores in Puerto Rico and an e-commerce operation. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cashier / Stockroom Associate to manage our checkout and support stockroom operations. This is a non-sales position: you will not be part of the sales floor team. Your focus is accurate transactions, a smooth checkout experience, and an organized stockroom. Responsibilities Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately at the point-of-sale (POS) system Handle cash, card, and other payments, and balance the cash drawer at open and close Greet customers at checkout and provide a courteous, professional experience Fold, bag, and package merchandise Follow store policies for returns, discounts, and loss prevention Receive merchandise deliveries, verify quantities, and check items into the stockroom Organize and maintain the stockroom so merchandise is properly located, labeled, and easy to find Replenish merchandise for the sales floor as requested Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies Keep the checkout area and stockroom clean and orderly Assist with additional day-to-day store tasks as needed Requirements Dependable, punctual, and honest, with strong integrity in handling cash Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Comfortable using computers and POS systems Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Availability during the posted schedule, including weekends and holidays Preferred Prior experience as a cashier or in retail Experience with POS or inventory systems Bilingual (Spanish/English) What We Offer Opportunity to work with a growing luxury retail brand Employee discount Pay: $11.03 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
