Cashier/Sales Associate/Stocker

Store hours are 9:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Saturday and 11:00 AM-7:00 PM Sunday. Most closing employees leave by 7:30 PM. Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections or demos - Operate the cash register efficiently, handling all retail sales transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer - Scan and bag items for customers - Maintain a clean and organized salesfloor and register area - Answer customer inquiries and provide product information - Upsell products and promote special offers - Assist with stock replenishment, pricing and inventory management - Merchandise product for best presentation - Sense of Urgency to get product on the shelves and drive sales - Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone, providing clear and friendly assistance - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs - Must be able to use a ladder or step ladder for stocking - Must be able to stand for extended periods By applying for this job, you are agreeing to the responsibilities listed above. Skills: - Strong organizational skills to manage cash handling and maintain an orderly checkout area - Knowledge of technology products to assist customers with their purchases - Effective time management to ensure efficient checkout process - Proficient in cash handling procedures, including counting, giving change, and processing payments - Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions - Upselling skills to encourage customers to purchase additional items or upgrades - Basic understanding of retail math for accurate pricing and discounts - Ability to stock shelves and maintain inventory levels - Proven sales experience in a retail environment is preferred - Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus for effective communication with some customers This is an exciting opportunity to join our team.
