Job OverviewJob Title: Cashier / Clerk Mini Market/ Convenience Store Requirements: Bilingual: English and Spanish Part-time and full-time positions available Some experience as a cashier preferred Some experience working with customers Reliable and responsible Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and accountability Assist customers with products, questions, and locating items Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks Ensure a clean and organized checkout area for a professional shopping experience Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and balancing registers Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and products enhances customer engagement Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions Pay: From $18.42 per hour Work Location: In person
