Duties Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through their purchases Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales opportunities Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an inviting shopping environment Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales potential while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering roles preferred, especially within grocery or retail store environments Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations essential for smooth transaction processing Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills advantageous for supporting team efforts Bilingual abilities highly valued to assist diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with a focus on friendly, professional interaction and clear explanation of products or policies Basic math skills necessary for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising principles, and grocery store operations beneficial for success in this role This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail expertise while making a positive impact on customers’ shopping experiences.
