Carpet/Flooring Warehouse

Job Overview As a Carpet/Flooring Warehouse team member, you’ll keep flooring materials moving safely and accurately through warehouse operations. You’ll receive, store, pick, package, and ship products while using equipment and inventory systems to support reliable order fulfillment. This hands-on role involves lifting and moving materials and following safety regulations and protocols. Warehouse experience in Carpet and Flooring is preferred. Hiring & Attendance Bonus's are available ! Responsibilities Receive, inspect, load, and unload flooring shipments; verify items and update inventory records. Pick, pack, stock, and stage orders using an RF scanner, pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, order picker, or cherry picker as authorized. Handle carpet and flooring materials with care; operate material handling equipment and other heavy equipment, including a crane when trained and authorized. Use inventory management software and a warehouse management system (WMS), including AS400, to support inventory control, warehouse distribution, and logistics. Your impact: Accurate handling and order preparation help customers and installation teams receive the right flooring materials when they need them. Qualifications Warehouse experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, picking and packing, or inventory management is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Familiarity with forklift, reach truck, crane, or other equipment operation is helpful. Follow equipment authorization requirements. Able to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidance and site safety protocols. Basic math, technical proficiency, and attention to detail for counting, labeling, and checking orders. Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
