Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including reading blueprints, installing cabinetry, working with drywall, and performing restoration projects. Your expertise will contribute to building high-quality structures and ensuring precision in every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with diverse materials and techniques, supporting the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Responsibilities Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities. Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, cabinetry, siding, and roofing using hand tools and power tools. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to support foundation work and structural elements. Install drywall, tile, flooring, siding, and perform finishing tasks including caulking and painting to achieve high-quality results. Assist with masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork or structural components. Operate CNC machinery for precise woodworking or manufacturing tasks when required. Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes; assist in project planning and material procurement. Conduct heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency on site; support assembly and installation of various fixtures. Collaborate with team members on plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems as needed to ensure integrated project completion. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, CNC machinery, and construction estimating software is preferred. Familiarity with drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, roofing techniques, and concrete forming is highly desirable. Ability to perform rebar installation and basic plumbing or electrical work is a plus. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills; ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
