Duties Safely operate your personal cargo van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices Conduct routine vehicle inspections before trips to verify mechanical safety and compliance with commercial driving regulations Manage route schedules efficiently using mobile devices, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including manual handling, moving items, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and safety records in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations Experience Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably with a background in warehouse operations or material handling Familiarity with commercial truck driving, box trucks, or van driver roles involving heavy lifting and manual handling techniques Knowledge of route driving, traffic regulations, and safe lifting practices in a warehouse or distribution setting Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely for extended periods Experience using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery documentation is highly desirable Strong understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and commercial vehicle operation Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency Embark on a rewarding journey as a Cargo Van Owner Operator—where your driving expertise meets your passion for delivering excellence!
