Cargo Van/ Owner Operator

Responsibilities Safely operate your personal or company-provided cargo van or box truck to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment, adhering to safe lifting practices. Manage delivery routes efficiently using mobile devices for navigation and communication. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards at all times. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs for inbound and outbound shipments. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Experience Prior experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services is highly preferred. Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in a warehouse or delivery setting. Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and managing time effectively on the road. Experience working with mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes. Knowledge of warehouse operations including load & unload procedures and moving materials efficiently. Valid driver’s license suitable for operating a box truck or cargo van; CDL license is not required but beneficial.
