This job is an OTR ( over the road), which involves driving to different states. Serious inquires only. Safely operate a cargo van for deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. 99 % no touch freights and ensuring proper handling of goods Load and unload goods only when required. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route-driving software to maximize productivity. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, including verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safe operation at all times. Skill Familiarity with commercial truck driving, box trucks, or van driving preferred; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong background in over-the-road driving and commercial driving, preferably. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks if needed Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment requires heavy lifting(only when needed) and moving tasks. Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations. Must be able to pass a background check, DOT physical, and a drug test (initial and random) No SAP (Substance Abuse Program) participant.
