Car Dealership Parts Department Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable, customer-oriented Parts Delivery Driver to join our family owned dealership team. In this role, you will be the face of our parts department, ensuring our local wholesale accounts and repair shops get the parts they need on time, every time. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including vans and dealership owned vehicles, to transport parts to local wholesale customers. Load and unload parts sometimes exceeding 25lbs using safe manual handling techniques. Follow established routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards. Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders against invoices/packing slips Communicate effectively with team members and customers via mobile devices to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse, supporting warehouse operations and inventory management. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on logistics. Strong knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with dealership staff and customers. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery tracking, and communication purposes.
