We value energetic individuals eager to learn, contribute, and grow alongside our dedicated team. ~ POSITION SUMMARY: The Camp & Yard Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Grande Prairie Camp and Yard. The role includes providing support in a fast paced, high call volume environment. The role includes completion of operational and administrative tasks as necessary in a timely and accurate manner. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities that are expected to be performed by a competent Camp & Yard Coordinator are the following: Camp Coordination duties to include: Tracking of all occupants and appropriate reporting to Payroll; Check-ins and Check-outs with all camp occupants Coordination of cleaning needs with Cleaner; Coordination of maintenance as required; Coordination of ordering supplies as needed for camp; Other camp duties as required. Other Duties Include: Responsible for working with branch manager & shop manager for maintenance of shop and building equipment, like replacing furnace filters. Camp Maintenance & Inspections. Office/Shop Maintenance and Inspections. Septic’s being monitored and emptied Take new hires on detailed tours of shop and yard. Snow clearing during winter months as well as salting and dropping gravel in yard and walkways, using loaders, skid steer and hand tools. Level approach and drag yard as needed during summer months. Cold storage inventory, Sea Cans. Monitor inventory and inspect maintenance for tank farm, fueling station and white shed. Move units to 3rd party shops as required. (If Candidate has Applicable License). Make sure the yard is kept in an orderly fashion with no trash or unused items left around. Move units around as needed. (If Candidate has Applicable License). Haul septic for PVTs yard. (If Candidate has Applicable License). The yard coordinator will monitor and report to the branch manager regarding any deficiencies in the yard and assist the branch manager with various tasks related to truck requirements in the yard. Coordinate calling and booking in plumbers, HVAC, painters etc. as needed for office/shop/camp maintenance. Other camp, shop and/or yard duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational skills, and ability to use technology to improve job efficiency in increase speed of reporting of findings. Minimum clean Class 5 License, preference will be given to candidate with Class 1 or 3 license Clean driver’s abstract (less than 6 demerits). 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role.
