Overview: Provide technical and commercial support related to procurement activities, including supplier qualification, vendor management, and purchasing. Supports the procurement process by ensuring materials and services are sourced competitively, suppliers meet performance expectations, and purchases are delivered in accordance with project and operational requirements. Responsibilities: Competencies: Negotiation Procurement Forecasting Supplier Evaluations and Certification Vendor Management Responsibilities: Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for purchases. Supplier performance measurement and oversight. Purchases materials at the most favorable terms for the company by preparing Supplier Qualifications, Bid Lists, Requests for Quotation, Bid Evaluations, Purchase Recommendations, and Purchase Orders. Facilitate technical or commercial clarifications, negotiate terms, coordinate source inspection, and track purchases with suppliers. Ensure all changes to order cost and/or schedule are clearly communicated. Work is highly independent. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Two to Four (2-4) years of experience. Working knowledge of purchasing practices, supplier management, and procurement processes. Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal. High level of personal integrity. Strong relationship capabilities. Proficient in both written and spoken English. Physical Demands and Working Environment: Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include exposure to bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic. Mobility around an office environment. Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
