Buyer - Contract Position

Role Description * Generate and review purchase orders, and follow up on all orders to ensure timely delivery * Receive goods into stock and reconcile with Purchase Order * Manage inventory levels across all branches * Monitor market changes, competitor prices, and past sales patterns to forecast future demand * Maintain close contact with vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory * Assist with returning items to vendors * Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications * Minimum of 2 to 5 years of Buying/Purchasing experience * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Self-motivated, energetic and results orientated individual who has strong organizational skills and able to work with minimal supervision * Team player able to work effectively within all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors/suppliers * Strong attention to detail and meticulous follow up * Previous experience with an ERP system preferred * Experience coordinating logistics and knowledge of transportation documentation (ie.
