The Role We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee several critical functions of our organization, including Accounting, Billing, IT, Inventory, and Project Coordination. This is a broad leadership role requiring a strong combination of financial knowledge, operational judgment, organization, and people management. A strong financial and accounting background is important. You don't necessarily need to be the person processing every transaction, but you must understand financial statements, accounting processes, internal controls, budgeting, costs, margins, cash flow, and the financial impact of operational decisions. You will work closely with company leadership to understand where the business stands financially and operationally—and make sure the teams you oversee are delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality work. What You'll Be Responsible For Provide leadership and oversight for the Accounting, Billing, IT, Inventory, and Project Coordination. Review financial results and identify trends, discrepancies, cost concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost control, and business decision-making. Ensure billing processes are accurate, timely, and effectively support cash flow and collections. Establish clear expectations, priorities, KPIs, and accountability across the departments you oversee. Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, communication, and productivity. Ensure appropriate internal controls, policies, procedures, and documentation are in place and being followed. Oversee inventory management and controls to ensure accurate inventory levels, proper tracking, timely reconciliation, and accountability for company assets and materials. Oversee business systems and IT priorities to ensure technology effectively supports company operations. Provide leadership and accountability for project coordination activities and ensure projects are properly supported from an administrative and operational standpoint. Develop department leaders and employees while addressing performance issues when expectations are not being met. Work closely with executive leadership to translate company goals and strategy into actionable departmental plans. Take ownership of problems and drive them through to resolution. What We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you: Have a solid accounting, finance, or business management background. Are comfortable reviewing financial statements and asking questions when the numbers don't make sense. Have experience leading multiple departments or business functions. Understand the importance of internal controls, accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
