Build Planner Responsibilities Manage manufactured products throughout the post-sale lifecycle, including planning, production, invoicing, and delivery. Coordinate communication between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams. Establish and communicate deadlines to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Monitor project timelines and proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within production schedules. Create and track project budgets to ensure production remains within approved costs. Build strong working relationships across all departments. Work closely with the Production Operations Manager to schedule production dates and communicate changes. Conduct root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate inventory requirements to Purchasing based on work-in-progress projects and sales forecasts. Ensure materials are sourced and delivered according to production schedules. Meet regularly with department leaders to review project status and manufacturing progress. Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates throughout the production process. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software. Experience working in a manufacturing, production, operations, supply chain, or project planning environment is preferred. Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Preferred Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field. Manufacturing, production planning, project coordination, or operations experience. Experience working with ERP, MRP, or production scheduling systems. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to occasionally walk through warehouses and production environments. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds as needed. Travel Limited travel may be required for training purposes.
