About the Role: The Brick Associate, Sales plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing knowledgeable and personalized assistance to customers in a retail environment. This position focuses on understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and facilitating sales transactions to achieve store sales targets. The associate will maintain a thorough knowledge of product features, promotions, and inventory to effectively guide customers through their purchasing decisions. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with team members to ensure the store is well-organized, visually appealing, and stocked to meet customer demand. Ultimately, the Brick Associate, Sales contributes to building long-term customer relationships and enhancing the overall reputation of the store within the Canadian market. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in furniture or home goods sales. Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment. Knowledge of furniture styles, materials, and home décor trends. Familiarity with inventory management software. Bilingual abilities, particularly English and French, to better serve diverse customers in Canada. Certification or training in sales techniques or customer service. Responsibilities: Greet and engage customers promptly to understand their furniture and home décor needs. Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer preferences and budget. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle payment methods securely. Maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, replenishing stock, and ensuring displays are attractive and up to brand standards. Collaborate with team members and management to meet or exceed individual and store sales goals. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Stay informed about current promotions, product updates, and company policies to provide accurate information.
