Brand Manager, FAXE Beer and MALT Build bold brands in a categories people love Great brands create more than market share. They create moments, experiences, and connections. At Royal Unibrew Canada, we are looking for a commercially minded and creatively driven Brand Manager to accelerate the growth of FAXE Beer and MALT in the Canadian market. These are distinctive international brands with strong personalities, exciting potential, and plenty of room to grow. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be at the centre of the action, shaping brand strategy, uncovering consumer opportunities, and turning great ideas into commercial results. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build brand equity, strengthen market position, and drive sustainable, profitable growth. You will own the local brand plans and P&L for FAXE Beer and MALT, partnering closely with sales, international brand teams, agencies, and distribution partners to bring the brands to life across channels. What You’ll Own Brand strategy and growth Own the local brand strategy, annual planning, and P&L performance for FAXE Beer and MALT in Canada . Develop and execute ambitious annual brand plans that build consumer relevance, strengthen brand equity, and deliver profitable growth. Manage marketing investments and budgets, tracking performance and ROI to ensure resources are working as hard as possible. Bring global brand strategies to life in Canada, maintaining brand consistency while adapting execution to local consumers, culture, and market opportunities. Identify new opportunities to sharpen competitive positioning and accelerate growth within the Canadian beverage market. Commercial activation Partner closely with sales teams and distribution partners to increase market share, expand distribution, and improve commercial performance. Translate brand strategy into compelling customer stories, presentations, sales tools, and programs that support both sell-in and sell-out. Help make FAXE Beer and MALT impossible to overlook through impactful campaigns, activations, and channel programs. Work cross-functionally with sales, trade marketing, supply chain, operations, and finance to ensure brand initiatives are practical, aligned, and executed brilliantly. Consumer and market insight Stay close to consumers, customers, competitors, and category trends to uncover opportunities others may miss. Lead consumer insight gathering, market analysis, and category reviews to inform brand strategy, innovation, and commercial decision-making. Turn data into clear recommendations and turn those recommendations into action. Digital and community engagement Develop and execute social media and community engagement initiatives that build awareness, relevance, and affinity for the brands. Measure performance, capture learnings, and continuously optimize content and activity. Collaborate with agencies and external partners to deliver memorable campaigns and brand experiences. Performance and commercial excellence Build and maintain dashboards, ROI reporting, and performance-tracking tools that provide a clear view of brand and business performance. Use Power BI and other analytics platforms to make insights accessible, actionable, and commercially relevant. Bring structure, curiosity, and accountability to how we evaluate marketing effectiveness. Support the Head of Marketing with Amsterdam Brewery and hospitality marketing projects as required. What You Bring A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. At least three years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within beer, alcohol, beverages, hospitality, or consumer packaged goods.
