Branch Manager in Training (Warehouse Operations) Great Lakes Radiant & Industrials, LLC Shrewsbury, MA Full Time|$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Build a Career, Not Just a Job Great Lakes Radiant & Industrials is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Branch Manager in Training to help build and grow our Massachusetts branch. This is a unique opportunity to learn every aspect of operating a wholesale distribution branch. During training, you'll gain hands-on experience in customer service, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and product knowledge. As our Massachusetts location continues to grow, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility with the goal of leading the day-to-day operations of the branch. Because we are a growing small business, everyone on our team wears multiple hats. One moment you may be assisting a customer over the phone, preparing a quote, or entering an order. The next, you may be unloading inventory, preparing a shipment, or helping a customer load products into their vehicle. Please Note: This is an active, physically demanding position in a commercial heating equipment warehouse. Employees regularly lift, carry, and move large commercial heating products and boxes weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the workday . This is an essential function of the position. What You'll Learn During your training, you'll gain experience in all aspects of branch operations, including: Customer Service & Sales Support Answer incoming customer calls and assist customers professionally. Prepare customer quotes and process sales orders. Respond to customer questions regarding products, pricing, and order status. Develop product knowledge of commercial and industrial heating equipment. Communicate daily with teammates across multiple branch locations using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office. Warehouse & Distribution Operations Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory. Prepare a shipment. Safely lift, carry, and move commercial heating equipment and related products weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the workday. Load and unload trucks. Assist customers with order pickups and loading merchandise. Deliver products locally using a company vehicle when needed. Participate in monthly inventory counts. Operate a forklift (training and certification provided). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Branch Operations Learn the day-to-day operations of a wholesale distribution business. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. Build relationships with customers through exceptional service. Develop the skills needed to support and eventually lead daily branch operations. Qualifications Required Valid driver's license. Ability to safely and repeatedly lift, carry, and move commercial heating products weighing up to 75 pounds throughout the workday . Comfortable performing physically demanding warehouse work on a regular basis. Strong customer service and communication skills. Resume required with application. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following: Wholesale distribution Warehouse operations Shipping & receiving Industrial supply HVAC, plumbing, or electrical supply Construction materials Inventory management Customer service in a distribution environment We're Looking for Someone Who...
