Specializing in the sale and service of outdoor power equipment, we have grown into one of the most comprehensive multi-line dealers in the country. Our team provides commercial grounds workers with a wide selection of equipment, parts, and tailored services across multiple branches in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and expanding markets. The Branch Manager is responsible for hiring, training, developing a strong team of technicians and counter staff, attracting new customers, retaining existing customers, leading the team to execute daily operations, partnering with sales and operations leadership to improve performance, and treating process improvement and operational excellence as core responsibilities—not secondary tasks. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable on the sales floor engaging customers and in the warehouse refining workflows, measuring accuracy, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Engagement & Sales Leadership Lead and model exceptional customer engagement at the service, parts and sales counters, and in outreach beyond them, ensuring every interaction is professional, consultative, and solution-oriented. Partner with sales and business development teams to identify, develop, and close upselling and cross-selling opportunities across equipment, parts, and service. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer needs and service issues, resolving them in a way that strengthens long-term relationships and brand trust. Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers, municipalities, and manufacturer representatives that generate repeat business and referrals. Represent all EquipKo brand values of reliability, expertise, and professionalism in every interaction. Track key performance indicators. 2. Operational Execution & Process Excellence Own day-to-day facility operations including merchandising, inventory management, logistics, service workflow, and warehouse organization. Develop, document, and continuously optimize standard operating processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and raise accuracy across all operational functions. Drive inventory accuracy (target 98%+) through disciplined cycle counting, process controls, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies. Ensure optimal stock levels, accurate product handling, and timely delivery of equipment and parts that support both sales and service commitments. Maintain strict compliance with company policies, safety standards (OSHA), environmental regulations, and DOT requirements. Oversee facility organization, cleanliness, and safety of warehouse, showroom, and yard areas; operate forklifts, trucks, and trailers as needed. Monitor budgets and track key performance indicators. 3.
