Box Truck, Hotshot & Cargo Van Owner Operators

Overview We are seeking motivated and dependable Box Truck & Hotshot Owner Operators to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and hotshot vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs using mobile devices or electronic systems. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during route driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly. Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition before each shift. Perform routine warehouse operations such as material handling, loading/unloading cargo, and managing inventory when required. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services with a focus on box trucks or van drivers. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, manual handling, and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with clients. Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and managing time effectively on the road. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued. Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes.
