Box Truck Driver – Local Deliveries

Job Overview As a Box Truck Driver – Local Deliveries, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and reliably from the warehouse to customers and other destinations. You’ll drive a box truck on local routes, handle loading and unloading, and provide helpful customer service at each stop. This hands-on role combines commercial driving, warehouse operations, and physical material handling. Duties Drive a box truck on assigned local routes, follow traffic regulations, and use mobile devices as directed for navigation and delivery updates. Load and unload orders; use a pallet jack and other material handling equipment when needed. Apply safe lifting practices when moving items, including heavy loads, and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Confirm deliveries and communicate professionally with customers; support accurate, timely service. Your impact: Safe driving and careful handling help customers receive their orders in good condition and on schedule. Experience Required: Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements; follow relevant DOT regulations. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or personal vehicle delivery experience, including route driving. Preferred: Commercial truck driving or other commercial driving experience; box truck experience and manual transmission skills are helpful. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, manual handling, moving, and load-and-unload experience are valued. Ability to perform physical duties safely, including heavy lifting and operating a pallet jack or other material handling equipment. Pay: $700.00 - $825.00 per week Work Location: On the road
