Box Truck Driver - Evening Shift

Job Summary Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM Full-Time |Local LAX Cargo Terminal Routes 26' Liftgate Box Trucks 1+ Year 26' Box Truck Driving Experience Required California Sierra Express is hiring an experienced 26' Box Truck Driver for our Compton operation. Our evening drivers work primarily in and around the LAX cargo terminals, picking up, delivering, and recovering time-sensitive airfreight shipments. This is a full-time position operating a 26-foot liftgate box truck. Routes typically require approximately 8–10 hours, depending on freight volume, airport activity, traffic, and operational needs. What We Offer $20.00–$23.00/hour, DOE Consistent Monday–Friday schedule 4:00 PM–12:30 AM evening/night shift Primarily local LAX cargo terminal routes Paid training Paid holidays, vacation and sick days Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Company-leased trucks Stable company with more than 35 years in airfreight transportation What You'll Do Operate a 26' liftgate box truck on assigned routes Pick up and deliver freight primarily at LAX cargo facilities Load, unload, and safely secure freight Complete time-sensitive freight pickups, deliveries, and recoveries Maintain vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and other required documentation Provide professional service when interacting with customers and cargo facilities Follow company safety, DOT, TSA, and cargo-security requirements Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience operating a 26' box truck Safe driving record Ability to safely load and unload freight Ability to work a consistent 4:00 PM–12:30 AM schedule Dependable attendance Ability to meet company, insurance, TSA, background-screening, and applicable drug-testing requirements About California Sierra Express California Sierra Express has served the airfreight logistics industry for more than 35 years.
