Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and efficient route planning and delivery schedules Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing and compliance with logistics cargo handling standards Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following all Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations to maintain vehicle safety and compliance Load, secure, and unload freight while adhering to truck loading/unloading procedures for various cargo types including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with tractor-trailers or box trucks Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trucking equipment is preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and hazardous materials regulations is highly desirable Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely Prior experience transporting freight over long distances or OTR routes is a plus Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a difference!
