Box Truck Driver

Overview As a Box Truck Driver, you’ll keep freight moving safely and reliably from pickup to delivery. You’ll plan routes with GPS navigation, operate a box truck, and handle cargo with care. This role is for local daily routes Responsibilities Drive safely and complete delivery driving routes, following schedules and communicating delays or route issues. Load and unload freight, secure cargo, and perform manual handling while protecting shipments from damage. Verify shipment details and handle logistics cargo. Your impact: Careful driving and cargo handling help customers receive their freight safely and on time. Complete vehicle inspections and maintain delivery and trip records in line with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Requirements Valid driver’s license and qualifications required for the assigned vehicle and routes; experience in truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver work is preferred. Ability to use GPS navigation, and safely lift and move cargo. Knowledge of commercial truck driving practices and applicable DOT, FMCSA. Driver needs more than 2 years of Box Driving Experience Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
