We handle a variety of shipments and prioritize safety, on-time delivery, professional communication, and proper shipment documentation. We are looking for responsible, safety-conscious, and experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities Operate a 26-ft dock-height box truck safely and professionally on nationwide OTR routes. Transport freight according to dispatch instructions, load requirements, and scheduled delivery appointments. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately. Use ELDs, GPS, and tracking tools as required, maintaining accurate records and providing regular location and ETA updates. Communicate professionally with dispatch, freight brokers, shippers, receivers, and customers. Verify load information, including shipment details, weight information, pickup instructions, and delivery requirements before proceeding. Take clear pickup and delivery photos when required and obtain signed bills of lading (BOLs) and proof of delivery (PODs). Report overweight concerns, loading discrepancies, damaged freight, breakdowns, traffic delays, and delivery appointment issues to dispatch immediately. Maintain truck cleanliness and secure cargo properly using available straps, load bars, E-track, and pallet jack equipment as applicable. Follow applicable DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, company safety policies, and all lawful instructions. Protect company equipment, freight, paperwork, and customer information. Follow authorized routing and shipment instructions. Never accept unauthorized load changes, reassign freight to another carrier, or make commitments on rates or compensation without dispatch approval. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of 26-ft box truck driving experience . Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and applicable state requirements. Current DOT medical card, where required. Valid passport and willingness to travel to Canada when assigned, subject to applicable border-entry and carrier requirements. Ability and willingness to remain on the road for several weeks and sleep in the truck during OTR assignments. Experience with ELDs, GPS navigation, electronic documentation, and shipment tracking. Good communication skills and the ability to follow dispatch instructions. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential mechanical or safety issues. Acceptable driving record and successful completion of applicable background, MVR, insurance eligibility, and company compliance reviews. Reliable, punctual, honest, and professional attitude. Amazon delivery experience is not required. Important Expectations Safety and communication are essential to this position. Drivers must immediately report accidents, breakdowns, overweight or incorrectly described freight, loading discrepancies, delivery delays, and other shipment-related problems. Drivers must never ignore safety concerns or continue operating an unsafe or potentially overweight vehicle. Drivers are expected to provide timely updates, preserve relevant documents and photographs, obtain delivery signatures, and cooperate with dispatch to resolve problems professionally. Compensation $0.40 per mile for both loaded and empty miles.
