Box Truck Driver

Overview. Hiring a driver to deliver products for Ceva Logistics it would be Monday through Friday. You would be solo in the truck. Must be able to lift and move 75lbs at least. You will have a pallet jack and hand truck. Everything is drop and go for the most part so no white glove or room of choice. Must have a decent MVR , no reckless driving or any suspension of license. Must have experience driving a 26ft truck from previous jobs. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers to transport freight across local and OTR routes Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes and optimize delivery schedules Comply fully with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards Manage delivery documentation accurately, including logs, manifests, and inspection reports Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain professionalism during route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker) Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation with a focus on route driving or over-the-road (OTR) routes Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or tractor-trailers preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks safely Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for efficient route planning and execution Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Join us as a Box Truck Driver and be part of a team that values energetic commitment, safety excellence, and professional growth.
