Box Truck 16-24FT Independent Courier Contractor

Job Overview As an Independent Courier Contractor for Box truck (16-24FT) you’ll pick up, transport, and deliver shipments safely and reliably. You’ll use a personal vehicle or an assigned van or box truck, follow planned routes, and provide professional customer service at each stop. This role combines delivery driving with hands-on loading and unloading, so safe driving and careful material handling are essential. Responsibilities Pick up, load, transport, and unload shipments; use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate Drive assigned routes, use mobile devices for delivery updates, and follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements Handle packages using safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures; complete manual handling and moving tasks Communicate courteously with customers and report delivery or shipment issues promptly Your impact: Careful handling and dependable deliveries help customers receive their shipments safely and on time. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license and a suitable, properly maintained vehicle if using a personal vehicle; ability to meet applicable driving and vehicle requirements Required: Safe driving habits, customer service skills, and ability to lift and move shipment loads as the work requires Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, commercial driving, or commercial truck driving experience; experience with route driving and manual transmission Preferred: Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, loading and unloading, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment operation Familiarity with box trucks, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices is an asset Pay: $360.00 per day Work Location: On the road
