Overview is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support the company's transportation and logistics operations. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for preparing and processing customer invoices, reviewing billing documentation, entering data accurately, resolving billing discrepancies, and coordinating with internal operations and customers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and issue customer invoices based on transportation and logistics services provided. Review bills of lading, delivery receipts, rate confirmations, load information, and other supporting documentation. Verify billing information for accuracy, completeness, rates, quantities, and applicable charges. Enter and maintain billing information in company systems. Match invoices with supporting transportation documents. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, missing documentation, and incorrect charges. Communicate with operations, dispatch, customers, and other departments regarding billing questions. Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with accounts receivable follow-up when needed. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation. Process billing adjustments, credits, and corrections as authorized. Assist with month-end billing and reporting activities. Research and respond to customer questions regarding invoices and charges. Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounting, or administrative support preferred. Transportation, trucking, logistics, or freight-industry experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good numerical and data-entry skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook . Experience with accounting, billing, ERP, or transportation management systems preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research discrepancies and resolve billing issues. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple invoices and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with operations and accounting teams.
