Bilingual Lumber Yard Supervisor

NOW HIRING: SUPERVISOR LEAD | LUMBER YARD Thompson Lumber Co. | Houston, TX You know lumber. You know the yard. You know how to get the job done. Thompson Lumber Co. is looking for a hands-on, experienced Supervisor Lead to take charge of our daily lumber yard operations. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk position. We’re looking for someone who understands lumber, knows how materials move from the yard to the job site, and can lead a crew while keeping orders moving safely and efficiently. Builders, framers, yard leads, and experienced lumber professionals are encouraged to apply! WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead and supervise daily lumber yard operations Direct the yard crew and keep workflow moving Pull, stage, organize, and load lumber orders Ensure orders are accurate and ready for delivery Help coordinate on-time deliveries to jobsites Operate forklifts and other yard equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard Troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly Lead by example and hold the team accountable WHAT YOU MUST HAVE Prior lumber yard experience is REQUIRED Valid driver’s license is REQUIRED Forklift experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to lift 75+ lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Dependable, hardworking, and hands-on Ability to work early mornings and some Saturdays WHY THOMPSON LUMBER?
