Bids and Logistics Coordinator
SAWW DevelopmentsJob Title: Bids & Logistics Coordinator SAWW Developments is seeking a highly organized and dependable Bids & Logistics Coordinator to support our commercial construction team with bid submissions, document coordination, office logistics, and general administrative errands. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working under tight deadlines, and able to coordinate multiple priorities. The position involves regular travel throughout BC and Alberta for bid submissions, document deliveries, site-related errands, meetings, and other business requirements. Key Responsibilities Bids & Tender Coordination Monitor and coordinate commercial construction tender opportunities and submission deadlines. Assist with preparing, organizing, reviewing, and submitting bid and tender packages. Compile quotations, subcontractor and supplier information, project documents, forms, and supporting materials for bids. Coordinate bid documents with estimators, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for bids, tenders, contracts, and project documentation. Logistics & Office Support Pick up and deliver construction documents, drawings, samples, supplies, equipment, and other materials as required. Coordinate couriers, shipping, printing, copying, and document delivery services. Purchase and pick up office, project, and construction-related supplies. Assist with organizing company vehicles, equipment, materials, and office supplies. Support general office administration and day-to-day operational requirements. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, expenses, mileage, and other logistics activities. Travel & Regional Support Travel throughout British Columbia and Alberta for bid submissions, document deliveries, meetings, site visits, and other business-related errands. Be available for occasional early-morning, evening, or deadline-driven trips when required by tender schedules. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in commercial construction, estimating, tendering, administration, or a related field is an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF/document management software. Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence. Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel regularly for work.
