We are currently looking for a Part-Time Retail Operations Associate – Back of House to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This on-site position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of our boutique, ensuring that merchandise is accurately received, organized, processed, and ready for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working behind the scenes in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Operations Associate, you will primarily support omnichannel order fulfillment, including online orders shipped from the store, customer pickups, and merchandise transfers. You will also assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, processing returns, and maintaining an organized stockroom. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, comfortable working with inventory systems, and committed to maintaining the operational standards of a luxury retail brand. What You'll Be Doing As a Retail Operations Associate at ViX Paula Hermanny, you will: Prepare, pack, and process online orders shipped directly from the store, ensuring accuracy, timely fulfillment, and proper packaging. Manage Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) orders, preparing merchandise for customer pickup and assisting with order handoffs. Support merchandise transfers between stores and other omnichannel fulfillment activities. Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying merchandise quantities and identifying any discrepancies or damaged items. Tag, label, organize, and replenish merchandise to maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are available on the sales floor. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom that supports daily store operations. Assist with inventory counts, stock audits, and inventory accuracy procedures. Process customer returns and exchanges, including online purchases returned in-store, following company guidelines. Work with the Store Manager and Retail Operations team to prioritize daily operational tasks and resolve inventory or fulfillment issues. Assist the sales team when needed, including locating merchandise, replenishing products, and supporting customer pickups. Follow company procedures for inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and merchandise handling. Support store operations during peak shopping periods, special events, and seasonal inventory deliveries. Who You Are You have previous experience in retail operations, stockroom management, inventory, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment. Experience in luxury or fashion retail is a plus. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping merchandise and inventory accurate. You are comfortable using technology, including POS systems, inventory management software, and handheld scanners. You can manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures. You communicate clearly and work well with store management and other team members. You have a positive attitude and are willing to support different areas of store operations when needed. You are comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
