Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 26 ft Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the freight throughout the transportation process. Duties Operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods across designated routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues that arise during transport. Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, and dump truck materials as needed. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid driver’s license. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized trucks is a plus. Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to trucking operations. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. Experience in route driving and navigating diverse road conditions effectively.
