AZ Flatbed Truck Driver – Local & Regional | Moffett Experience an Asset

Join Our Team at GESS Transport! GESS Transport is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced AZ Flatbed Truck Drivers to join our growing team based in Puslinch, Ontario. We offer steady work with consistent hourly pay, primarily local routes, and a Monday to Friday schedule. Safety is our highest priority. We maintain strict safety standards and expect every driver to demonstrate a strong commitment to safe driving, proper load securement, equipment inspections, and compliance with all transportation regulations. This position involves transporting construction materials, building supplies, trusses, mulch, soil, and other flatbed freight throughout Southwestern Ontario. The role is primarily local, allowing drivers to be home every nights, with occasional overnight trips as required. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport construction materials, building supplies, and other flatbed freight. Complete local and regional deliveries throughout Southwestern Ontario. Properly secure loads in accordance with MTO regulations and company safety standards. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs and proof of delivery (POD) documentation. Strictly follow all company safety policies, Hours of Service regulations, and applicable transportation laws. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and jobsite personnel. Report safety concerns, equipment defects, and incidents immediately. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of verifiable AZ driving experience – MANDATORY Minimum 1 year of flatbed experience – MANDATORY Valid Ontario AZ driver's licence. Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract. Employment or insurance experience letter covering the past 2 years. Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing. Strong knowledge of flatbed load securement and MTO safety regulations. Excellent safety record and commitment to safe driving practices. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Preferred Qualifications: Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) operating experience is a strong asset but is not required.
