Automotive Service Dispatcher

Job Title: Service Dispatcher – Busy Domestic Auto Dealership Pay: $60,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience) Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are a high-volume domestic auto dealership looking for an experienced, organized, and driven Service Dispatcher to keep our busy service department running at peak efficiency. You’ll be the central coordinator who assigns work, balances technician workloads, tracks progress, and helps deliver fast, high-quality repairs and excellent customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level, certifications, workload, and priority Monitor job progress throughout the day and proactively address delays or issues Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts Department, and Technicians to keep the shop flowing smoothly Review repair orders for accuracy, proper documentation, and completed work Help maximize shop productivity and technician efficiency Maintain clear communication on vehicle status and promise times Support a clean, organized, and professional service environment Assist with other duties as needed to keep the service department running efficiently What We’re Looking For Previous automotive dealership experience (Service Dispatcher, Service Advisor, or Technician preferred) Strong understanding of service department workflow and technician skill levels Experience with dealer management systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, DealerTrack, or similar preferred) Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Valid driver’s license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Schedule Full-time (specific days/hours to be discussed) Benefits Available: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Ready to join a busy, high-energy dealership team?
