Automotive Parts Manager

We currently have a terrific opportunity for a qualified Parts Professional at our Chevrolet GMC store in South Haven, MI. The Parts Manager role is an essential member of our parts, collision and service team ensuring the right parts get to the right place at the right time. This is a full-time, salaried position with performance bonus. Job Responsibilities: Right Part, Right Place, Right Time. You understand the absolute necessity of our Technician team repairing vehicles and not waiting on parts. You strive to deliver the highest fill rate possible from your department. Inventory Health. You maintain high inventory turns and low obsolescence. You keep the store RIM compliant and stay on top of returns. Cycle counting and managing special order parts are essential processes for success. Parts & Service Growth. You work with the service team to stay in tune with the local market and ensure our pricing is competitive. You assist with promotions and specials to attract new business. Department Profitability. You keep operating expenses in line with sales volumes. You eliminate areas of waste and institute savings to grow the bottom line. Safety and Regulatory Compliance. You ensure the department maintains certifications and adheres to procedures that are compliant with company, factory and government policy and regulations. Work Schedule: M-F 7:30a.m.-5:30p.m. No Saturdays!
