Utah ImportsJob Summary We are seeking a highly organized Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support both our service and sales teams. Your expertise in supply chains, supplier relations, and automotive diagnostics will drive efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage the lifecycle of automotive parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, demand planning, and inventory control to meet operational needs. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier performance. Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, storage optimization to ensure smooth logistics flow. Utilize inventory management systems such as ShopBoss software to accurately track stock levels, perform data entry, and generate reports for internal communication. Coordinate with automotive service departments and dealerships to fulfill parts orders efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards. Implement procurement management strategies aligned with manufacturing schedules and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications to support vehicle repairs. Maintain compliance with safety regulations related to warehouse management, Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts or dealership parts with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and vehicle systems. Demonstrated expertise in supply chain, procurement, sourcing strategies, and logistics inventory management. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, OEM parts sourcing, pricing strategies, demand planning, and automotive service workflows. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent internal communication abilities to collaborate effectively across departments. Mechanical knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
