Automotive Parts Counterman/Driver

We are looking for a motivated, reliable team player to fill a dual role as an Automotive Parts Counterperson and Delivery Driver. Job Overview In this dual role, you will be the face of our parts department. You will split your time between assisting customers at the service counter—helping them identify and purchase the correct automotive components—and hitting the road to deliver parts safely and efficiently to our commercial partners. Duties Counter Sales & Support: Assist retail and commercial customers via phone, email, and in-person at the counter to accurately identify, locate, and sell automotive parts. Catalog Navigation: Look up parts efficiently using electronic parts catalogs (EPC) and manufacturer management systems. Parts Delivery: Safely load, secure, transport, and unload parts deliveries to local repair shops and collision centers. Inventory Management: Help check in daily orders, stock shelves, organize the warehouse, and pull orders for delivery routes when not driving. Order Tracking: Process payments, handle product returns/credits, and maintain orderly records of invoices and repair orders. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at the counter, warehouse, and inside delivery vehicles. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of automotive parts counter or dealership parts experience preferred. License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR check required). Technical Skills: Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale (POS) software, and digital parts catalog systems. Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to [35lbs] regularly and stand or drive for extended periods. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technicians, retail buyers, and commercial accounts.
