Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Parts Sales Associate, where your automotive expertise and passion for customer service will drive success! Your mechanical knowledge, sales skills, and organizational abilities will help ensure a seamless shopping experience while supporting inventory management and automotive repair services. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the right automotive parts, accessories, and repair solutions through knowledgeable consultation. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and parts management using systems like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale). Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, product recommendations, and follow-up support. Handle cash transactions, cashiering duties, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain organized shelving, stocking procedures, and ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor to promote a professional shopping environment. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, inventory tracking, and communication purposes. Engage in sales management activities including upselling, cross-selling, and achieving sales targets. Communicate effectively with clients via phone etiquette and in-person interactions to enhance customer experience. Experience Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments specializing in automotive parts or accessories. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures. Familiarity with automotive repair processes, dealership operations, or auto service centers is highly desirable. Experience with inventory management systems such as CMMS or similar platforms is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication tasks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships through active listening and problem-solving. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain a tidy work environment. Knowledge of POS systems, retail math for sales transactions, and cash handling procedures is essential.
