Auto body parts inventory

Ray Mees Auto Coach is seeking an organized, dependable Parts & Inventory Specialist to support our busy collision repair shop. This position helps keep repairs moving by ensuring the correct parts are received, inspected, organized, and ready for technicians. Responsibilities Receive deliveries and match parts to purchase orders and repair orders. Inspect incoming parts for damage, accuracy, and missing components. Label, organize, and store parts by vehicle and repair order. Update parts status in the shop’s management systems. Coordinate with estimators, technicians, and vendors regarding missing, incorrect, or backordered parts. Process returns, track credits, and follow up with vendors. Maintain accurate inventory records and a clean, organized parts area. Help prevent lost parts, duplicate orders, and repair delays. Qualifications Auto body parts or automotive inventory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills; experience with CCC or Mitchell is a plus. Reliable attendance, clear communication, and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to safely handle automotive parts, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
