We create unforgettable experiences, and we are looking for an action-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our leadership team in Glen Burnie, MD . RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Live outside of Maryland? Party Plus will provide up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for experienced candidates with a proven track record in the Tent & Special Event Rental industry! (Subject to company guidelines; requires a 24-month minimum commitment). Position Overview & Schedule : Typical Work Week: 35 to 50+ Hours (Flexible, seasonal hours required, including weekends and extended field hours during peak seasons). Role Type: A highly active, split role requiring both warehouse floor leadership and field-based operational supervision. Key Responsibilities: Field Installation & Setup: Lead, execute, and personally assist in the safe delivery, on-site setup, and structural installation of commercial tents, staging, dance floors, lighting, and related event infrastructure. Crew Management & Supervision: Supervise, train, and work alongside warehouse crews, field installers, and delivery drivers to maximize efficiency and maintain high team performance. Logistics & Routing: Coordinate shipping, receiving, fleet loading, and transportation logistics to optimize daily delivery and strike/tear-down schedules. Inventory & Order Fulfillment: Oversee order picking, staging, loading, and return tracking for specialized event equipment to ensure 100% accuracy. Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigid safety standards, proper lifting/anchoring protocols, company policies, and DOT/OSHA compliance both in the warehouse and on job sites. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, logistics management, or equipment rental operations. (Direct experience in tent and event rental is highly preferred). Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to maximize efficiency and maintain high team performance. Proven track record of managing crews and developing teams in a fast-paced environment. Logistics & Routing: Coordinate shipping, receiving, and fleet transportation logistics to optimize daily delivery and strike schedules. Technical Knowledge: Strong mastery of inventory control systems, shipping/receiving protocols, and fleet logistics. Physical & Adaptable: Ability to handle the physical demands of a warehouse environment and work flexible hours tailored to the seasonal nature of the event industry. Communication: Sharp verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with account executives, delivery drivers, and clients.
