Sun Hill Properties, Inc.JOB OVERVIEW The Assistant Storeroom Manager supports the department leadership in overseeing inventory control, receiving, storeroom operations, and procurement activities for Sun Hill’s portfolio of hotels. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of products required to support daily hotel operations. Such a role provides leadership to storeroom and receiving personnel while partnering closely with hotel operations, culinary, finance, housekeeping, engineering, vendors, and corporate leadership. WHAT WE OFFER Pay rate: $72,384 annually Medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Complimentary Employee Meals Exclusive worldwide Hilton employee travel discount program ... and more DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily receiving, warehouse, and storeroom operations to ensure accurate receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of products Verify deliveries against purchase orders, maintain organized storage areas, enforce FIFO inventory practices, and ensure proper inventory levels to support hotel operations Complete regular market price analyses, price benchmarking, competitive bid analyses and vendor pricing audits Assist with occasional price audits across all properties Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories, investigate variances, and support inventory reconciliation and audit requirements Ensure all products are issues requisition, receiving, and inventory control procedures comply with company standards and controls Partner with hotel leadership, culinary teams, finance, engineering, housekeeping, and other departments to support operational purchasing needs Monitor purchasing expenditures, review invoice accuracy, assist with budget management, and analyze purchasing trends to improve operational efficiency Maintain procurement records, vendor files, contracts, pricing databases, and purchasing reports Monitor compliance with brand standards, purchasing specifications, approval workflows, and corporate procurement policies Supervise and support Receiving Clerks, Storeroom personnel, and other assigned team members Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management of storeroom staff Coordinate departmental schedules to ensure adequate operational coverage and efficient workflow Train hotel personnel on purchasing procedures, inventory controls, procurement systems, and company policies Participate in departmental, property, and corporate meetings and support special projects as assigned Maintain safe, clean, and organized receiving and storage areas in compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards Perform other duties as assigned by Management QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations, with prior supervisory experience preferred Required Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of purchasing, procurement, inventory control, receiving, and warehouse operations Advanced understanding of hospitality operations, including food & beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and hotel support departments Ability to analyze purchasing data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budget and expense management Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of purchasing policies, internal controls, contract administration, and audit compliance Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy Effective leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent…
