Assistant Store Manager

Overview Refresh Bricks, the largest independently owned LEGO brick reselling store in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Store Manager. This role involves supporting the store's daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have managerial experience and a strong knowledge of LEGO products to effectively lead the team and contribute to the store's success. Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Support staff management by supervising team members, delegating tasks, and fostering a positive work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience. Maintain inventory levels, organize stock displays, and assist with merchandise replenishment. Help implement sales strategies and promotional activities to increase store performance. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Contribute to training new team members on product knowledge and customer service standards. Utilize LEGO knowledge to assist customers with product selections and provide expert advice when needed. Skills Proven managerial experience in retail or similar environments. Strong knowledge of LEGO products, including sets, bricks, and building techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team effectively. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail. Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving skills. Organizational skills for inventory management and store presentation. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
