Assistant Project Manager

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our fiber construction projects. This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of fiber infrastructure development, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and computer literacy, with specific experience in fiber construction. Responsibilities Assist in coordinating daily project activities related to fiber construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Communicate effectively via phone and other channels with team members, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project operations. Support the project management team in tracking project progress, managing documentation, and updating project schedules. Utilize technical knowledge of fiber construction processes to troubleshoot issues and support on-site teams. Maintain accurate records of project activities, materials, and equipment used throughout the construction process. Collaborate with field teams to ensure safety protocols are followed and project milestones are achieved on time. Contribute to problem-solving efforts by providing insights based on technical proficiency and project data. Assist in procurement activities and inventory management related to fiber construction materials. Qualifications Proven experience in fiber construction is highly preferred. Strong phone communication skills for daily coordination and stakeholder engagement. Technical proficiency related to fiber infrastructure projects. Excellent computer literacy, including familiarity with project management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Prior experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
